The franchise has since won a further 21 NBA titles under Auerbach’s leadership including 10 in a row from 1959–60 to 1968–69 – an NBA record for winning the most championships in a row. As well as experienced leading players such as Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, the team have also had many high draft picks such as Len Bias and Jaylen Brown who were considered “can’t miss” prospects but ultimately failed to make an impact at the professional level.
