MapleStory is a game that has been around since 2003, and it’s just now celebrating its 17th anniversary. The story of MapleStory begins with the letter “A,” because all games in Korea began on the year 1999. However, many players don’t know about this fact as they’ve only recently discovered how old their favorite game really is through research like this article!

The “maplestory anniversary 2022” is a celebration of MapleStory’s 17th anniversary. The game has been around for nearly two decades and has had many ups and downs throughout the years.

It has been 17 years since MapleStory was initially published, as of last month. Nexon published the Blooming Forest update with lots of anniversary activities to commemorate the occasion.

“The spirits have delivered special activities to the Blooming Forest to commemorate MapleStory’s 17th Anniversary!” By utilizing the Floral Blessing ability to destroy enemies, you may earn your daily limit of Blooming Coins. You may also earn money by competing against other players in the Blooming Race or by employing Legion characters to weed the garden using Legion Gardening.”

And this is just the beginning of the information! In this episode of The MOP Together, we’ve rounded up some of the lesser MMO news pieces and videos from the last week (and if you spot anything we missed, please let us know)!

Cross-platform invitations are being tested in Osiris: New Dawn. “There have also been a lot of demands for bigger worlds, so we’ve started testing 16K and 64K sizes to see whether this is feasible.”

Roblox allows its workers to work from home, in the office, or a combination of the two.

“Black Panthers, Jaguars, Lionesses, and Snow Leopards have been successfully taught to accept riders by the talented and clandestine New Britannian cat-trainers and are available for purchase in the Crown Store,” according to Release 101 of Shroud of the Avatar.

“Since launch, they have eliminated over 2,300 bugs: both old and new; trivial and serious; straightforward and nuanced,” according to Wolcen. We’ve issued 44 patches in that period, averaging little over 52 fixes each patch.”

Netease has taken down Rules of Survival, a battle royale that was accused of imitating PUBG. It is no longer accessible on Steam.

Neverwinter’s newest patch brought significant changes to bards. “Bard AoE heals now only apply to player characters. This modification should prevent Bards from accidentally healing NPCs or companions at the expense of PCs. It should also bring Bard healing capability closer to those of other classes, according to the studio.
