My goal for the night was to play Sea of Thieves. I’ve been doing an awful lot of that lately, which is good because I’ve been in a bit of a funk, but it’s been a struggle. The thing is, I can’t really explain why, and I don’t think it’s “broke”.
If you are one of the many Sea of Thieves players who are having trouble loading supplies, you may want to check out this fix from a Reddit user. Load up the Sea of Thieves app and you will find a menu with options to Report a Bug, Modify Settings, Check Logs, and View in-game notifications. Selecting the Modify Settings option will open up the game’s settings menu.
I’ve been playing Sea of Thieves over the last week or so and I’m finding it to be an entertaining game with a lot of potential. The game’s world is pretty expansive, and full of things to do. However, the issue I’ve had is with the game’s supply system, in which you’re supposed to find salvage that can be spent on supplies.
For some players, the Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies issue has appeared at inconvenient moments since the game’s debut. If you’re unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end, the game will not go beyond the final loading screen before you’re free to sail the seas.
The only thing that makes the Stuck on Loading Supplies issue in Sea of Thieves worse is not understanding what it means or how to solve it. That’s what this essay will attempt to discuss. Read on for a few pointers that should get you back into the game and grinding for that delicious Renown.
One potential reason of the Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies problem, according to developer Rare, is a clash between the game and users’ antivirus software. The three pieces of software listed below seem to be the primary culprits:
- WARSAW/TECHNOLOGY OF GAS
The developer recommends switching to another antivirus “until the problem is addressed,” which isn’t very helpful if your antivirus isn’t one of the ones listed above. It’s always a good idea to check your firewall settings and make sure Sea of Thieves isn’t banned, regardless of what safeguards your PC.
That being said, other players have had luck getting past Sea of Thieves’ Stuck on Loading Supplies error by simply restarting the game. Another potential solution involves making sure that the Set time automatically option is ticked in the Date & Time section of Windows’ options menu and that your date and time are not behind or ahead.
There seem to be many reasons for the problem, and sometimes the only thing you can do is wait. Sea of Thieves is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 Series X/S.

Since I’m a newbie and I’m having a hard time finding anything online about this problem, I thought I’d post it here. I was playing Sea of Thieves and I was trying to make some supplies in Gadgetzan. I got to the point where I had to go pick up my supplies, and it says: “Loading Supplies… Please Wait…” and it says for more than a minute now. I tried restarting my Xbox but that didn’t work. :(.
