The world of gaming is filled with a vast amount of software that provides for a ton of enjoyable gameplay. But, there is a limit to how many hours you can spend on one game or even how long a game can last. So, how does one go about getting through a good portion of a game without losing interest? Well, there are a few options at hand.
The NieR game series has always been a highly anticipated title. The first game was released in 2001 and captivated players with its dark, gritty, and gripping story. This year, the game series was given the high-definition treatment, and it’s been since dubbed ‘complete perfection.’ In this year’s NieR, players take on the role of two different characters: 2B and 9S. This new generation of NieR, however, runs on Unreal Engine 4. High-end gaming is defined by graphics, and NieR: Automata is the game to deliver the best graphics available on the market today.
As you may have guessed by the title, I’ve been playing NieR: Automata and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. One of the things I like about it is how well the game is designed; you have options that allow you to play the game at different levels of difficulty, depending on how you want to play. I’m a big fan of games that give you control of your own destiny.
The first NieR was scrutinized by many people. Most fans were introduced to the series with 2017’s critically acclaimed sequel NieR:Automatain. This review of NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139….is a bit complicated. This is a remake of an alternate version of the original 2010 version of NieR,, which was never released outside of Japan. The lead actor is younger and the dialogue is slightly different from the version that was eventually released in the West. This puts theReplicantRemake in a unique position. New players have the option of starting the series with an updated version of the first game. Fans of NieR:Automata can play the first game without having to resort to outdated hardware. Fans of the original NieR will have the chance to get acquainted with another version of the beloved game. NieR:Automatawas one of our favorite JRPGs of the PS4 era, so we decided to spend some time withReplicantand bring you our review. Increase

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 Video Review
Beginning and end
Image via Square Enix The plot takes place thousands of years before the events ofNieR:Automata. You play as a young man who lives with his younger sister Yona in a small village. At the beginning of the game, it is revealed that Yona has contracted a disease called black squid, and you embark on a journey to find a cure. Your wanderings lead you to an abandoned shrine where there is a floating, talking book called the Grimoire of Weiss. Weiss endows you with magical powers and asks you to collect sealed verses to gather magical powers and heal your sister. You’re eventually joined by an explosively talking (and scantily clad) woman named Caine and a mysterious boy with an eye patch named Emile. At first the plot looks like a typical JRPG, but halfway through there is a time jump. After that, things start to change. Replicantplays with perspective and subverts gender classes. Like the originalNierandAutomatabefore it,Replicant is ver. 1.22474487139…doesn’t really end after the first credits. In fact, there are five different endings that can only be reached if certain conditions are met over the course of several episodes of the game. You also unlock new information and scenes each time.
Not quite a fairy tale world
Although the ruins of a technologically advanced civilization are visible everywhere, the world ofNieR Replicanthas a distinctly imaginative feel. Small towns are surrounded by wilderness areas. The clothing is medieval and you use swords, spears and magic to defend yourself against ghostly creatures called shadows that attack people when they see you. However, don’t be lulled into a false sense of security by the beautifully lit landscape and friendly locals. This isn’t Hyrule. Death is a very real thing in this world. The charming dialogue, cartoonish boar rides and whimsical side missions are often undermined by the sudden death of a character. This can be frustrating, but it also reinforces the sense that these people are struggling to survive. They cling to moments of levity because they cannot afford to give in to despair.
Streamlined but outdated
Image via Square Enix Mechanically, the combat hasn’t changed much from NieR. You always press the attack buttons to perform sword combos, hold down the power button to block, and hit the bumpers to activate spells. They’ve adapted the fluid movement and fast-paced action that Platinum Games created with Square Enix inNieR:Automata. Now you can also walk, which is important considering the amount of travel you have to do. But that brings me to one of the biggest problems in this review of NieR Replicant . There are a lot ofs in thisgame. Almost all side missions are missions of some kind, and there are some in the main game as well.
NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139…is not the most intense remake ever made. It’s not quite like the new Final FantasyFinal Fantasy, but it has drastically improved battles, textures and gameplay over the original. Laura Bailey as Cain and Liam O’Brien as Grimoire Weiss are great, and the score is phenomenal. The biggest downside is the excessive number of item quests and the generally slow start, but it’s still a fantastic game and the best way for players to become familiar with the series.
- Audiovisual media – 9/10
- Mechanics – 8/10
- Narrative and atmosphere – 9/10
- Stability – 9/10
Summary NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is a remake of a great story with updated mechanics and graphics, and a brand new voice acting. The back and forth between locations and the large number of quests can get annoying, but it’s still an interesting game and a good introduction to the series. Professional

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Nier Replicant remake worth it?
A long time coming, after a long time in the making, Nier: Replicant has been released on the PlayStation 4. Nier: Replicant is a spin-off of the cult classic Nier, released on the PlayStation 3 back in 2011. The game is set in the post-apocalyptic world of the original game, but in the year 2029. The main protagonist is Nier Replicant, a Replicant, created to help humans. However, when the game begins, Nier Replicant has been turned into a tool by humans, and is used to help them. The story follows Nier Replicant as he discovers the truth about the world, and his own identity. It’s been a while now since I’ve talked about Nier Automata. There are reasons for this. One of which is that the game has been my most played video game for the past 90 days. The other is that I have been enjoying the game so much that it’s hard to keep up with the actual reviews. So, I’ve decided to break this trend and talk about Nier Automata in a dedicated review.
How long is Nier Replicant remake?
In this article, I want to share my thoughts with you on Nier Replicant, a new RPG by Square Enix and Platinum Games. I’ve been playing the game ever since the initial Japanese release in November 2016, so I thought I would give you my full review of the game and see how it stacks up against the original NieR. I was first introduced to NieR: Replicant, the remake of the cult RPG NieR, in 2009, when I was a freshman in high school and at the height of my gaming nerdism. This is the game that got me hooked on the “long” style of JRPGs and ultimately led me to play the original NieR. I was excited for the remake to come out last year, but after the initial release, things went downhill for the project. At that time, there was a lot of controversy all over the internet about the censorship of the game, and the development team’s changing priorities. Is Nier Replicant 60 fps?
Nier Replicant is the first game in the Nier series, it is an action RPG game available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The ending of Nier: Replicant came as a shock to many. The game’s series creator, Yoko Taro, proclaimed that his final work be a masterpiece that would only be completed in his lifetime, one that would be a flagship title for the PlayStation 4. The game was released on January 23, and after playing through the entire Platinum Games developed game, I can confirm that Nier Replicant is not the artistic masterpiece Taro intended it to be. To fully explain why the game left a sour taste in my mouth, I need to talk about its story.
