Lost Ark has been teasing everyone with the announcement of two upcoming classes; Glaivier and Destroyer. These announcements have caused quite a stir in the community, but Lost Ark says this content is “too good to hold back.”
This may just be an entertaining way for Lost Arc to fake out players while they wait for Spring Raids or something else equally exciting.
The “best martial artist build lost ark” is a new class that was teased by the developers of Lost Ark. The Glaivier and Destroyer advanced classes might hold back some spring raid content.
Last night, Amazon and Smilegate released further information about their Lost Ark roadmap item, informing gamers that the studios intend to “focus the immediate future on horizontal content and offering users clear avenues for growth without feeling like they need to pay.”
To that aim, the Glaivier martial artist advanced class, which uses the Focus and Flurry skill sets to “slice and dice her way through the battlefield, stringing together blows with her spear and glaive.” Endgame gamers may also look forward to the enigmatic tech-centric South Vern region, as well as enhancements to everyone’s quality of life.
The Destroyer warrior advanced class and trial guardian challenge raids will be released in May, but the studios indicate they may postpone Valtan’s Legion and the Deskaluda guardian raids if the endgame becomes too stressful.
“We’ll continue to evaluate data and listen to player feedback, and share summer roadmap content after April & May are wrapped up,” Amazon and Smilegate conclude.
Glaivier: The Glaivier cuts and dices her way across the battlefield, weaving together assaults with her spear and glaive in an artful and lethal type of martial arts. Focus and Flurry are the two separate skill sets that the Glaivier may switch between, with each stance and skill set symbolized by one of her two weapons. The shorter spear is employed in the Flurry position to unleash a frenzied assault, while the longer glaive is utilized in the Focus stance to deliver beautifully devastating blows and sweeping attacks. While certain builds may focus your attention onto one of these weapons, an effective Glaivier can maximize their potential by creating balance between the two stances, building up energy in one stance which grants an impactful stat-boost when swapping to the other. As the sixth Martial Artist Advanced Class, the Glaivier will join the Wardancer, Soulfist, Striker, and Scrapper.
Destroyer: We’ve already discussed Warriors’ destructive influence on the battlefield, but nothing exemplifies this more than the hammer-wielding Destroyer. Destroyers are equipped with a number of talents based on storming into the conflict, and their hammer assaults are so devastating that they can bend gravity to their will— delaying, launching, pushing and pulling enemies— whatever it takes to absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, destroy them. As the fourth Warrior Advanced Class, the Destroyer will join the Berserker, Paladin, and Gunlancer.
The “mysterious art: blast of ruination” is a teaser for the upcoming Lost Ark raid. It shows off the Glaivier and Destroyer advanced classes, as well as some other things that might hold back some spring raid content.
