All Endings in Elden Ring (Spoiler Alert!)

What happens in the end?

The “elden ring true ending” is the only true ending in Elden Ring. It’s a game that has multiple endings, so the true ending will be different for everyone.

Elden Ring includes six possible endings, each with its own set of conditions that must be met throughout your game. Each one requires the completion of certain quest lines or the execution of specific activities, which might be an easy or hard procedure. We’ll take a look at all of Elden Ring’s endings in this post.

We’ll go through how to acquire each ending as well as a broad review of each if you simply want the lowdown without having to go through the game numerous times to see them all. With that in mind, be forewarned: huge Elden Ring spoilers coming!

Every Elden Ring Ending

This is your final opportunity to change your mind! We’re going to disclose all six Elden Ring endings from FromSoftware.

1. Fracture’s Age

This is Elden Ring’s “conventional” finale. This is the ending you receive if you don’t finish any of the big side missions or interact with the Frenzied Flame.

You fix the Elden Ring and become Elden Lord in this ending. As long as you allow life to continue as the Twin Fingers and the Greater Will desire, nothing terrible happens in the Lands Between here.

How to Get It

If you finish the game without interacting with the Frenzied Flame, you might choose to “Mend the Elden Ring.”

Achievement

The Achievement “Elden Lord” will be given to you if you complete this ending.

2. The Duskborn’s Age

Completing Fia’s quest path and assisting ingher in bringing death back to the Lands Between are required for this ending.

We don’t sure what this signifies, but we do know that Fia is linked to death in unusual ways. It’s safe to believe she wants to blur the barriers between life and death, allowing for a new kind of existence after death, akin to what she appears to have planned for Godwyn.

This is one of the game’s most enigmatic and ambiguous endings.

How to Get It

You must finish Fia’s quests as well as some of Ranni’s. Ranni’s quest line must be completed until the point when she hands over the object that inverts the Carian Study Hall, which contains an item required for Fia’s quest path (the Cursemark of Death).

Fia’s quest path is rather lengthy, but it concludes in the Deeproot Depths. You’ll meet Fia here and fight the Lichdragon Fortissax. Fia will offer you the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince, which is required for this ending.

Select “Use Mending Rune of the Death-Prince” as your option after slaying the Elden Beast.

Achievement

Completing this ending earns you the same accomplishment as the “Elden Lord” ending from Age of Fracture.

3. The Ordered Age

Another ending that sees you becoming Elden Lord is the Age of Order ending. You establish order to the Lands between in this ending. This conclusion is linked to Goldmask and Brother Corwyn, and it contains moral ambiguities. It’s difficult not to wonder what Goldmask means when he says he wants to establish ultimate order to the Lands Between.

We don’t entirely comprehend the consequences of this ending on the world, just as we don’t fully comprehend the implications of the Fia quest line. All we know is that it will bring “order.”

How to Get It

This is a rather simple finale to achieve. To find Goldmask in the Atlus Plateau, just engage with Brother Corwyn at each of his places. Then, in the capital (pre-ashen version), converse with them and follow their narrative until they reach the Mountaintops of the Giants.

The Mending Rune of Perfect Order may be found on Goldmask’s corpse in the ashen capital after completing the quest line.

Choose “Use Mending Rune of Perfect Order” as your option after fighting the Elden Beast.

Achievement

“Elden Lord” is the same as in the Age of Fracture.

4. Despair’s Blessing

The Dung Eater and his quest line are related to the Blessing of Despair ending, so you already know it’s the most miserable in the game.

The (vile) Dung Eater suffers from a curse that prevents his soul from interacting with the Erdtree after death, and is brought on by the “defilement” of corpses. In essence, the Dung Eater wishes to bind everyone in the Lands Between to this curse. He is enraged and cruel, and he wishes for everyone to be like him.

How to Get It

Gather and give Seedbed Curses to the Dung Eater after completing his quest line. The Seedbed Curses are a pain to find, but once you’ve gathered them and presented them to him, he’ll reward you with the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse. Then, at the conclusion of the game, you may choose “Use Mending Rune of the Fell Curse” as your option.

Achievement

“Elden Lord” is the same as in the Age of Fracture.

5. The Age of the Stars

This is the most popular ending among fans, and it is linked to Ranni’s mission. This is the first of two “alternative” endings, each of which is different.

You defeat the Twin Fingers and Greater Will in this ending, putting a stop to the Golden Order. Instead, you should listen to Ranni the Witch’s advice and let her dominate. We learn along the quest line that the Greater Will may not be as good as we thought at the start.

This conclusion, like the others, involves moral problems, but it also has more personality than the others. Some of the others seem like tiny changes on the conventional finale, however Ranni’s is thrilling.

How to Get It

At the conclusion of Ranni’s quest path, call her in front of the Fractured Marika. Her summons will be bright blue and easy to see.

However, since her quest line is fairly extensive, it will take some time to complete. It involves visiting a number of hidden spots, battling a number of optional bosses, and a lot of running about the world. But it’s well worth it for one of the game’s most intriguing endings.

Achievement

The “Age of Stars” award is earned by completing this ending.

6. Frenzied Flame Lord

Many people believe this to be the “bad” ending, but I like to call it the “chaos” ending.

The tarnished embraces the Frenzied Flame and the Three Fingers in this conclusion, thereby turning into a symbol of lunacy and lighting the world on flames. There’s a lot of backstory going on here, but the overall purpose of this ending is to eliminate all of the Greater Will’s life and faults, thereby reuniting everything.

When you think about it, this is eerily similar to the conclusion of Age of Order. Just in a really circuitous manner.

How to Get It

It’s not difficult to get this outcome.

To begin, you must first go to the Sewers (Subterranean Shunning-Grounds), beat Mohg the Fell Omen, and then attack the altar behind him. This will disclose a hidden path that goes further into the cave. As you descend, you’ll finally come to a Site of Grace named “Frenzied Flame Proscription.”

You must first remove all of your armor before interacting with the door down there. The Three Fingers will then hold and squeeze you for a few moments, forcing you to accept this fate.

How to Get Rid of the Lord of Frenzied Flame

This is the only ending that can be locked into by mistake, but there is a means to reverse it. This procedure, on the other hand, is quite inconvenient (and perhaps the most difficult side quest in the game). Complete Millicent’s questline, then return to the Haligtree with the Unalloyed Gold Needle you obtained. Then you must beat Malenia (good luck).

You can receive Miquella’s Needle by interacting with her body after you beat her. Then travel to Crumbling Farum Azula and defeat Dragonlord Placidusax with it. Then, in the empty boss arena, use Miquella’s Needle to finally undo the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending.

Achievement

The achievement “Lord of Frenzied Flame” is unlocked after completing this ending.
